Hello! Been a long time, eh? Years, even. How are you?

At the previous journal, I've announced that I'll be more active in Instagram, but now I'm trying to revive my DeviantArt account. I'm in my last year of college and doing my thesis. It took more time than I had planned because of various things, but I try not to think too much about it. Because of that, I have some time to relax and draw more. So I thought, why not use my DeviantArt account again?

If you had known me, you must notice that I enjoy RP-ing. That's because the prompts and events gave me inspirations of what to draw. And it's also one of my favorite things in DA (well, I know you can also join RP groups outside DeviantArt, but I'm not quite familiar). So, I've been looking for open RP groups to join. Unfortunately though, some groups I'm interested in are either closed or inactive. Therefore, if you know a good group which is currently open for applications, do tell me! I prefer the casual ones which take place in modern time, but other suggestions are welcome too!

Alright let me say hello to you guys first. Hi! It's been months, isn't it? Can't count anymore. So yeah. Sorry for the unreplied comments and notes. Terribly busy here with college and club activities. I rarely draw digitally anymore even if I wanted to, so I'm back to traditional media which is actually not bad! Until you have to color it. Since I'm not that experienced with coloring traditionally.

So! I still want to keep in touch with you guys, but DA wouldn't be the perfect option (for me, at least). Just recently I made an Instagram account where I post my drawings (and hand lettering and bullet journal LOL)! I really hope we can talk more there! Mine is @salmonwrites (and @_fslmn for drawing)! You know, I already wrote a journal before this, telling about my holiday after the finals and some unfortunate events happened then, but suddenly the text was gone and.... I'm so lazy to re-write it, so just let it be.

And yes, some announcement! I still have 1 month vacation, but my schedule is packed with activities until August. I'll have some weeks free then, but once college starts in September, I know I'll be much busier. I might be able to post some drawings, but I can't promise to join RP group activities regularly. I'm also planning to leave some of the RP groups I'm joining right now and obviously won't continue the RPs from those groups. I feel bad because I still want to talk to more people in DA, but guess I need to prioritize my real life first.

Last announcement would be my plan to draw a web comic. You've seen the main characters and I already have stories scattered in my mind which itch me to draw them! Well... this plan seems to contradict the fact I stated earlier, but I think I can work on it slowly during my free time. Wish me luck!

At first, I just wanted to check my DA notifications for at least an hour, but now I'm still replying comments and notes for almost 4 hours. So scary and dangerous.

Welcome to my procrastination journal. I actually have 2 reports and at least 3 essays that are due tomorrow, but what am I doing here? Procrastinating of course. While college indeed absorbs most of my time, I'm also busy with club activities which are actually refreshing! I joined the college library as a volunteer and I'm so glad I did because everyone are really nice and fun to be with! Aside from helping out the library and its events, all we do is just gather and chat every Wednesday. It doesn't sound so appealing, but it's really pleasant! Sometimes we also bring foods and eat them together!

I also joined the outdoor activity club (or Mapala in Indonesian). I spent most of my time with these people. We meet almost everyday because we have to take care of the plants we planted when we just joined. I'd say they're pretty crazy, funny, sometimes rude but not offensive, and full of corny (and even dirty) jokes, but they're all kind-hearted. We already camped several times, hiked a mountain together, and even shared hard times together (I'm not exaggerating, seriously!) so it feels like we're already a family. We still feel awkward towards the seniors though, due to some.... 'unpleasant' experiences. But nevertheless, I totally enjoy the time we spend together! I learned a lot from this club, including going home reeeeeaaaallly late at night too LOL.

Pfftt in the end maybe I just wanted to share about my clubs. So yeah, my advice, if there are clubs in your school or college or community, you should totally join one! It'll worth the experience!

And for those who missed it, don't worry, I'll hold another kiriban sooner or later! I'm kinda glad that someone actually caught my kiriban because the first time I held one, no one sent me a note orz Yeah, it was sad, a little.
